Ideas for Latasha’s Rendang Terlagi Lagi Paste
Try these flavoursome recipe ideas for Latasha’s Rendang Terlagi Lagi. This sticky, thick and spicy paste is absolutely addictive.
- In a bowl make a marinade with ½ jar Latasha’s Kitchen Rendang Terlagi Lagi Paste and 200 ml coconut cream. Prepare vegetables such as royal potato wedges, pumpkin quarters, baby eggplant, turnips or sweet potatoes. Toss vegetables and marinade together. Then bake in a pre-heated oven at 180˚C until cooked.
- Make a braised vegetable rendang stew with cabbage, eggplant, potato, carrot and fried tofu.
- Mix ½ jar (3 tablespoons) Latasha’s Kitchen Rendang Terlagi Lagi Paste with 1 tablespoon each coconut cream and grated palm sugar. Use this as a marinade for a whole chicken, duck or lamb shoulder. Preferably allow to marinate overnight. Then roast on indirect heat in hot weber or in a pre-heated oven for an hour. The meat must first be wrapped in heat softened banana leaves and some aluminium foil.
