Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar with Haloumi Cheese

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g Haloumi cheese
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper



  • Parsley sprigs


  1. Unwrap haloumi cheese and cut into six slices.
  2. Season flour with salt and pepper and coat pieces of haloumi with flour on both sides.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan until very hot and add haloumi pieces.
  4. Fry one or two minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Gently warm Latasha’s Kitchen Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar pour half on a warm plate until it covers the whole plate evenly.
  6. Place fried cheese on plate then pour the rest of the dressing on top.
  7. Garnish with sprigs of parsley and serve with hot pitta bread.
