Pan Crusted Steak with a Splash of Funky Black Beans
Spice up your favourite grass fed steak with a splash of crispy oily funky black beans. Any cuts you chose from a t-bone, or a scotch fillet, rib eye, porterhouse, rump or minute steak will tune in well with this tasty oily goodness.

Bring a cast iron, griddle or carbon steel saucepan to 260-degree surface temperature. Add some neutral or avocado oil or ghee, and a smashed garlic or two.
Salt your steak and add to the saucepan and sear each side for 2-6 minutes on each side (depending on your preference) flipping just once to the other side until you get a good crust.
Rest for 5 minutes, then serve with a generous drizzle of Latasha’s Kitchen Funky Black Bean Chilli Oil all over steak, salad, potatoes or any of your favourite sides.
