5-Minute Choc Cherry Fondants
Warm, gooey, chocolatey and ready to serve in just five minutes… these Choc Cherry Fondants are the easy Christmas dessert you didn’t know you needed. Ingredients − Serves 1
- 2 tbsp butter (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ cup self-raising flour
- 4 squares dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce
- Extra butter for greasing
- Baking paper if turning out
To serve
- Icecream and extra Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce

Method
Serving in a ramekin
- Add butter and boiling water to the ramekin and mix to melt.
- Add sugar, cocoa and flour; mix well.
- Push chocolate squares into centre and spoon Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce between them.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds; add 10 second bursts if needed.
- Serve hot with ice cream and extra Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce.
Turning out onto a plate
- Grease ramekin and line base with baking paper; add 4 paper strips for lifting.
- Mix butter and boiling water in a bowl until melted.
- Add sugar, cocoa and flour; stir to combine.
- Add half the batter to ramekin; make a dent; add chocolate and Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce.
- Cover with remaining batter.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds; add 10 second bursts if needed.
- Lift out using paper; serve warm with ice cream and Latasha’s Kitchen Cherry Chocolate Dessert Sauce.
