Ingredients: Eggplant (70%), onions, tamarind, vinegar, spices, ginger, garlic, chilli, sugar, salt, mustard powder

Review: Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is the first chutney I have had the to pleasure to review. This was tried on a plain cracker and on it’s own. The flavours are tremendous. It’s got a decent amount of heat that works very well with the eggplant. It can also work as a nice side to your favourite barbecued or grilled meats as well as being a great dip or on a wrap/sandwich. It’s an 8 out of 10 on my chilli heat rating.

Verdict: Latasha’s Kitchen Eggplant Kasaundi Chutney is a spicy yet delicious chilli chutney that can be used in a variety of food applications. It’s well made and the spices work extremely well with the eggplant. Another fine product from Latasha’s Kitchen. My final score is 9 out of 10.
